BGM Original gearbox shims for Vespa Smallframe, PK, PX & T5 50-200cc scooters produced 1984 onwards.
Hardened and ground to within 0.01mm tolerances, these are high precision spacers, much more accurate than the Piaggio rings. These spacers are used to adjust the axial play between the gear cogs. Precisely spaced gears can make gear changes much smoother.
To check free-play you will need to use a feeler gauge between the cogs and the spacers (Piaggio specified tolerance: 0.15-0.40mm)
