The Peugeot Vivacity was introduced in 1998.
First generations of the Vivacity were available with the same vertical 2-stroke 50cc and 100cc engine as used in Peugeot's Speedfight 1 and 2 although the Vivacity was only available in air-cooled versions. The Peugeot Vivacity features a front hydraulic disc brake and a rear cable-operated drum brake. In 2008 the Vivacity 3 was introduced and production of the previous version ceased. The Vivacity 3 featured redesigned bodywork with additional storage in the front panel and a 12 volt power socket. The Vivacity 3 uses the same horizontal 50cc 2-stroke or 4-stroke engine and 125cc 4-stroke engine as used in the Speedfight 3 although 2-stroke Vivacity models are only available as air-cooled.
