The Speedfight 3 was the first generation of Speedfight to use a 4-stroke engine.
The Speedfight 3 is sold with a 4-stroke engine as either 50cc or 125cc and features an air-cooled 139QMA/QMB GY6 type engine as used in the vast majority of Chinese scooters. The 125cc Speedfight 3 uses an air-cooled engine as used in the Peugeot Tweet 125cc but with some adjustments to the ignition to develop more power. The 50cc 4-stroke Speedfight 3 uses a front hydraulic disc brake and rear cable-operated drum brake whilst the 125cc Speedfight 3 features both front and rear hydraulic disc brakes. The Speedfight 4 was introduced in 2014 with mainly visual updates.
