The TMAX (XP500) was introduced by Yamaha in 2001.
The Yamaha TMAX uses a water cooled 4-stoke twin cylinder 500cc engine. Since 2012 the TMAX has been produced using a 530cc engine. 530cc models use a belt system for the final drive, replacing the previous chain drive. The Yamaha TMAX uses front double disc and rear single disc hydraulic brakes in conjunction with 15 inch wheels.
