The PK was introduced by Vespa in 1982.
Introduced as an update for the smallframe range, a baby brother of the successful PX was produced. The PK was produced with 50, 80, 100 and 125cc engines. In 1985 Piaggio updated the PK with the XL model, XL models had a smoother body shape than the original PK. In 1983 the PK Automatica was introduced; visually the same as the geared Pk but as the name suggests with an automatic transmission. Vespa ceased production of 50cc geared scooters in 1999.
