In 1985 Vespa introduced the T5.
The T5 was produced with a single cylinder 125cc air-cooled 2-stroke engine. The T5 was intended to be a sporty version of the PX, it featured a 5 port aluminium cylinder with nikasil plating for improved power and performance over the PX engine, allowing the T5 to produce the power of the 200cc PX. Production of the T5 was ceased in 1999.
