In 2013 Yamaha introduced their new Aerox (NS50).
Although completely restyled, Yamaha have stuck to the theme of the original Aerox by offering a sports scooter inspired by their racing pedigree. The new Aerox still features a liquid-cooled 2-stroke horizontal engine produced by Motori Minarelli which is essentially identical to the earlier Aerox engine, along with 13 inch wheels in conjunction with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes. A 4-stroke version of the Aerox has been produced by Yamaha but it has yet to be introduced into the UK market.
