Vespa introduced the Primavera in 2013 as the successor to the LX.
In 2014 the 'sporty' Sprint version was introduced. These have been produced with a 2-stroke long-type air-cooled Piaggio engine, previous automatic Vespas used Piaggio's HI-PER2 short engines. The Primavera (Italian for Spring) and Sprint take their names from Vespa's successful smallframe series.
