The DT125R features a liquid-cooled 125cc 2-stroke engine. The DT125R remained virtually unchanged until 1993 where it underwent some visual changes and improved emissions. In 2004 a supermoto version, the DT125X was introduced. The DT125R/X was discontinued in 2007 as emissions rules got stricter.
