Peugeot began production of the Jetforce in 2002.
The Jetforce was produced using a 50cc 2-stroke liquid-cooled engine, earlier models of the Jetforce used an electronic fuel injection system, these models were known as TSDI. In 2004 Peugeot discontinued the 50cc models using the fuel injection system 50cc in favour of a traditional carburettor system, these models were known as C-TECH. 125cc versions of the Jetforce were produced and featured a 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine, some 125cc models were supercharged.
