The Piaggio Zip with a 4-stroke engine has been produced as a 50cc, 100cc or 125cc, all air-cooled. 50cc and 100cc versions of the 4-stroke Zip use Piaggio's short HI-PER4 engine. 125cc versions of the 4-stroke Zip feature Piaggio's LEADER engine. All 4-stroke Zips use 10 inch wheels in conjunction with a front hydraulic disc brake along with rear cable-operated drum brake. Today only 2-stroke versions of the Zip are available.
