The PX was introduced by Vespa in 1977.
The PX was first produced with either a 125cc or 200cc single cylinder air-cooled 2-stroke engine. 200cc versions of the PX were sold as the Vespa P200E until 1982 when the 200cc version was given electronic ignition and renamed the PX200E. 200cc versions of the PX were produced until 2001 when production was ceased, today the PX is produced with either a 125cc or 150cc engine.
