The largeframe series was introduced in 1957.
The Vespa 125cc VNA is considered the start of the largeframe series. Vespa introduced largeframe models with a 150cc engine with the VBA. 125-150cc evolutions of the largeframe models included, GL, Super and Sprint. Later models of largeframe Vespas introduced engines with a lager displacement with the 160cc GS and later the 180 and 200cc Rally. In 1977 Vespa introduced the PX revolutionising the Largeframe range.
