HPI ignition system with lighting/ charging coils for Piaggio/ Gilera 125/180cc 2-stroke maxi-scooters.

High performance alternative for the now discontinued Piaggio stator. The HPI system reduces inertia of the flywheel with the small 320g flywheel included. The small 71.5mm diameter flywheel allows the engine to have an aggressive throttle response.

60W of power is provided by the coils can power lighting or charge the battery, you will need a voltage regulator (not included).

Included is a CDI with a single ignition curve, this system can be modified to run with 2 ignition curves (2-curve CDI and switch not included).

The HPI ignition system is perfect for both road and race use.

For air cooled engines a Minarelli 50cc cooling fan is required
