Italkit adjustable pneumatic exhaust power valve system for Rotax 122/123 2-stroke engines. Found in Aprilia RS, Tuono, SX & RX 125cc motorcycles.

This valve works with the exhaust pressure and it opens progressively between 6000 and 8500 rpm. The valve opening rate can be adjusted 1 is the softest and 9 is the hardest.

The difference between a learner legal (12hp) RS125 and the full power (33hp) is that although the power valve is present  there are no electrics or controller fitted to operate it. Normally this means you need to buy an operating solenoid, cable, ECU power valve controller etc. which can be very expensive.

Because this kit operates by exhaust pressure it can convert a restricted motorcycle into a full power version without needing to buy and install these expensive components or can replace the whole power valve system in a full power model where any of these components have failed.
