Athena carefully selects the material for each individual gasket to ensure the appropriate material is used, for example, exhaust gaskets are subjected to extreme heat and pressure so are made out of a material that can endure. This range of materials allows Athena to produce of a range of different thickness cylinder base gaskets to adjust your cylinder height and get the most out of your engine.

"Extra" gaskets have an extra silicone seal to further increase sealing reliability.
