Rubber rim band for 16-19 inch wheels.
Often replaced with insulation tape, rubber rim bands serve to protect your inner tube from the spokes and prevent the ingress of water which can cause corrosion and eventually a wheel collapse. Replace your rim bands along with your inner tubes when fitting new tyres.
