Vacuum fuel tap for Piaggio, Gilera and Yamaha Aerox bikes, also Speedfight/ Derbi etc.
5-6mm fuel connection,
4-5mm vacuum connection.
Hose clips are always recommended!

With the tap fitted to the tank connect a pipe to the bottom connection (the connection on the right in our photo)
If you suck gently on this pipe fuel should flow out of the other outlet from the tank and stop flowing when you stop sucking.
When you suck on the suction pipe (the one on the far right furthest away from the black filter in the picture) this allows fuel to flow from the petrol tank and out of the other pipe. This means that when the engine is running or the engine is cranking there will always be suction and the fuel will be flowing but as soon as the engine is switched off the suction stops and so does the fuel flow. Fuel should never flow out the suction pipe.
