Description

Replacement CDI unit for Peugeot V-Clic 50cc 4-stroke Euro2 scooters with carburettor (no Lambda sensor).

This particular unit has a looped wire, which once cut will remove the rev limiter.

Not suitable for air injected or EFI models.

Please note the colour of the plastic plug may vary.

*Twin plug using 1x 4 pin plug & 1x 2 pin plug.

    Yes, these fit models produced 2007-2014.

  • Q. Does it make the scooter go any faster?

    This CDI will remove the rev limiter on the bike - The only way removing the rev limiter will increase speed is if the maximum revs are restricting how fast the bike is currently going.

  • Q. Is the green loop wire easy to identify?
  • A.

    Yes, you can just see it in the picture. It's very short and comes out the cdi and then straight back in again- if cut this removes the rev limit from the CDI and allows the top speed to be increased.

  • Q. Hi, my V-Clic has no spark. I'm not sure if it is the cdi or the stator. Is there any way of testing them? Is it the same CDI as my friend's Baotian scooter? The fitting looks the same.

    Hi, this blog (click here) covers testing for no spark or fault finding cdi/ stator on the Peugeot V-Clic complete with diagrams. Although it looks the same as the CDI's on the common Chinese GY6 engines it is different. The V-Clic cdi is unique to only the V-Clic and cannot be interchange with the CDI from any other non-Peugeot scooter or moped that we know of.
