Voltage regulator/ rectifier for Yamaha Aerox 2003 onwards. (Check picture)
Check picture, some mopeds before 2003 use this regulator instead.
This also fits most Peugeot Speedfight 3 (4-stroke), Ludix, and Speedfight 2 which use this shape regulator.
Please compare your old one with the one shown in the photo.

Check your battery voltage with the engine off.
Most regulators will not output more than 6 volts if they do not detect a battery with a charge of at least 8 volts as a safety device- as soon as a good battery is connected they then output close to 14v
