SKF main bearing and seal kit for Piaggio/ Gilera/ Vespa 50cc 2-stroke scooters.
Kit contains two SKF bearings and two double lipped oil seals. This is a very high quality C4 bearing offering less friction due to the fibre cage and less engine damage in the event of failure.
These are the same bearings as used in Polini Evolution race kits and suitable for use with high power race kits as well as standard.
Polymer cage: the half-open cage bearings must be inserted so that the cage is facing the crankcases. (balls visible)

These bearings are fitted with nylon polymer retainers/cages to hold the metal ball bearings in the correct spacing (some crankshaft bearings use metal inserts) .
On these nylon insert bearings one side of the bearing cage is more 'open' than the other side and the bearings must be fitted so as this is the side which is facing in towards the crankshaft.
