The Stage6 Sport Pro 70cc aluminium cylinder has always been an affordable yet very high (European made) quality cylinder kit which has long been popular with in scooter tuning.
Now Stage6, with their new Sport Pro MKII, are taking it one step further!
This MKII version of the Sport Pro is a completely new design and includes new transfer ports design which gives a 2 hp increase over the earlier kits.
With the right components this kit can make 15-17 hp straight out of the box.
Cosmetically this kit resembles the pentagonal shape of the R/T cylinders and the head is a one-piece construction with cast scavenging passages for better heat transfer.
The piston used is a replica of the R/T version, with domed crown and 0.8mm ring to increase performance and improve thermal stability.
Note: The temperature sensor used should not be longer than 18mm (incl. thread)- check dimensions!
Use with BR9ES spark plug.

Yes, but the iridium ones are expensive and can foul up quite easily
Use BR9EG if you want a better plug (this is what motocross bikes would use)
Either one of these kits will be fine with your set up:
Not really, the Sport Pro MKII kit revs too high for a standard crank to last long (especially if it already had a fair few miles on it).
You would really need to use a fairly mild sports exhaust if you wanted to keep the standard crank but with a mild exhaust you wouldn't see the full benefit of the kit- it's designed to be used with something like the Stage6 HPC crank or the Motoforce EVO crank (budget alternative) and a decent set of C4 crank bearings.
The Stage6 Pro MKII kit is higher performance than most 70cc sports big bore kits and the original oil pump doesn't really provide enough oil.
Stage6 recommend that if you are using the original autolube system you additionally mix up the fuel at 60:1
If you are simply pre-mixing and have done away with the original oil pump then mix at 33:1.
You also need to use 98 octance fuel with this cylinder kit (most premium petrol is around 98 octane).
Be sure to use a good quality fully synthetic 2-stroke oil
