BGM PRO pre-assembled gearbox for PX E Lusso/ COSA/ T5 125–200cc scooters with Lusso type transmission produced 1984 onwards.

Fully assembled and spaced gearbox ready for immediate installation, specifically developed for Vespa Largeframe engines. Ideal for powerful motors, touring riders, and racing enthusiasts.

Manufactured from high-quality NiCrMo case-hardened steel (20NiCrMo2-2 / AISI8620), with surface hardening of 58–60 HRC, these gears deliver maximum durability, minimal wear, and excellent load capacity. The Lusso-style gearbox features a flat shift cross and two snap rings on the main shaft, providing a wider contact surface and greater stability than older PX gearboxes.

Gear Ratios: PX200 gradation with a shorter 4th gear from the PX125 model, providing a smaller jump between 3rd and 4th gear for improved power delivery. Perfect for touring with extended primary reduction to lower cruising revs.

Older PX engines (up to approx. 1983) can be converted to Lusso gearbox type.

Mainshaft fully compatible; recommend using the more stable PX Lusso brake drum (30 or 31.5 mm shaft seal diameter).

PX80, P125X, P150X require suitable auxiliary shafts (“fir tree”) for conversion.
