MVT Digital Direct Internal Rotor Ignition with Lights for Minarelli AM6 50cc 2-stroke engines.
The top-of-the-line ignition from MVT, designed for maximum performance on tuned Minarelli engines. Featuring a lightweight internal rotor and digital CDI with variable ignition timing, it delivers sharper throttle response, stronger torque and peak power across the entire rev range.
Unlike most racing ignitions, the Digital Direct also provides a 12V output to power lights and on-board electronics – perfect for street use as well as racing.

Before 2003 - models produced up to 2003 (6-pin without battery).
After 2003 - models produced 2003 onwards.
Adjusting and setting up the MVT Digital Direct ignition:
-First remove the original ignition and fit the MVT Digital Direct ignition. Do not fully tighten the stator and rotor until the ignition has been set.
-With a micrometer or TDC dial gauge, adjust as follows: for standard stroke set 0.4 mm before TDC, for long stroke set 0.35 mm.
-Next connect the ignition to the wiring loom so the vehicle lighting functions (see fitting instructions).
Requirements:
-Micrometer for accurate ignition adjustment
-A fully charged 12-volt battery (essential for MVT ignition operation)
