Stage6 Sport Pro MKII variator kit for Piaggio/ Gilera/ Vespa 50cc 2-stroke scooters.

This is the updated version of the Sport Pro variator, adjusted to meet the new technical standards of the Stage6 R&D department. The MKII variator uses larger rollers (19x15.5mm), this has been found to improve performance and reduce wear on the variator & rollers. The roller tracks have been hard coated to increase durability and guarantee consistency in performance. The drive belt running surface is un-coated to increase belt grip, increasing the ability of the drive belt to transfer power to the rear wheel. 

This variator has been adjusted for 50cc cylinders with a Stage6 Pro Replica exhaust, you will need to adjust the roller weights/ torque spring to suit your engine setup.

Stage6 recommend combining the Stage6 Sport Pro MKII variator with a Stage6 Sport Pro clutch, Stage6 clutch bell & new drive belt. A Stage6 rollers box set will make adjusting the variator easier.

Note: For models produced before 2000 (HI-PER1) it is recommended to use the standard torque spring and adjust the roller weights to suit.
