This Polini subframe for Piaggio Zip SP is a reinforced and revised version of the Piaggio engine mount.
It uses high-quality SKF bearings with aluminium bushes instead of the two silentbloc bushes from the earlier version. This makes the frame stiffer, improving handling and especially cornering ability.

The engine is still positioned in the centre (same as with the original Piaggio Zip SP1 engine mount). Also, the wheelbase is now 15mm longer. 
The subframe can of course also be used with Zip SP2, but a Zip SP1 wheel is then required, as otherwise the wheels are out of alignment and wheel/engine are not at the centre.
